rules are the building block in control over your email address they are an optional addition to emailrule and only required if you want to begin forwarding or controlling incoming mail don't want to recieve the mail? don't add a rule to your email address and all incoming mail will go to your emailrule mailbox for access good to knows depending on your plan you can have up to a maximum of 5 rules per email address as we expand we will support more rules per email address each rule has a maximum number of recipients which can be added need more? remember you can always create more rules to support more recipients the maximum number of "allowed senders" or "allowed senders contains" rules is 100 respectively rule options option description callouts name the name for your rule we suggest something to make it easy for you to manage enabled flag which allows you to enable or disable a rule allow all senders flag which allows all people to send mail to your email address when this is enabled you cannot use "allowed senders" or "allowed senders contains" recipients a list of people you would like to forward incoming mail to allowed senders a list of people who can send mail to your email address want to block all mail to your email address for a little bit? leave "allowed senders" and "allowed senders contains" blank and we will bounce all new mail allowed senders contains a list of words if the incoming email sender has any of the key words in their address we will permit the mail we are still working on new rules overtime have suggestions? email use at support\@hey emailrule com
