Overview
Temporary email address are the crux of EmailRule and enable you to protect your information
Good to knows
If you remove all rules from an email address it will still recieve mail. Incoming mail will go to your EmailRule Mailbox
This is the default configuration when you create an email address
Deleting an email address will immediately remove all artifacts (emails, rules, etc). There is no going back
When you block mail to an email address we bounce any new mail which is sent
Emails are only stored for 30 days
Email address name rules
There are rules around creating and managing email address (not a ton but we have some):
An @emailrule.com email address length (before the @) must be a minimum of 5 character and a maximum of 15 characters
Custom domains email addresses can have a minimum of 1 character and a maximum of 15 characters (before the @).
That's it. The rules are pretty simple. You can create any other words combination you would like.
General rule
If an email address bounes when we attempt to send mail to it we will block all future sending to that address
If you think this is done in error please contact us
If your account/email address has excessive bounce/complaint rates we will block your account and reach out with further information
