we are going to cover how to add dns records to your godaddy hosted domain first, ensure you pull your dns records from the emailrule domains page the emailrule custom domin page with a domain titled "emailruletest com" highlighted showing the 3 cname and 1 mx record value keep these open in another tab and navigate to godaddy and head to accounts > my products this should open a page which shows your domains click on the "manage" button next to your domain if you enter from a different path you should find where you can view all your domains there should be a button for managing dns godaddy portal with the manage button highlightd godaddy dns management portal for emailruletest com next click on the "add new record" button we will need to add 4 records 3 cname and 1 mx record the cname name fields should not include the domain name emailrule will provide something along the lines pjkp3esp3xfwhwp55e57gytjrixndnyf domainkey emailruletest com you will only need to put pjkp3esp3xfwhwp55e57gytjrixndnyf domainkey if your provider asks for a "name" for your mx record use @ this is a catch all symbol the godaddy dns portal with the 4 records from the custom domain page filled in once you add in your records and save you can head back to emailrule propogation of dns records can take up to 24 hours we will monitor your domain every 15 minutes to check for status updated but if you think it should be done sooner you can refresh the status from the domain page once your domain is verified you can head to the email addresses page and start creating immediately
